Does anyone have enough knowledge re the Specific Carb Diet (SCD) to tell me if it's good for constipation, too? Good for Leaky Gut?

I have IBS and probably leaky gut, and am reading about SCD; all the info seems to say that SCD is for people who have diarrhea (caused by Chohn's or Ulcerative Colitis)... Am I on the wrong track??

thanks

The SCD diet did not do anything for my long term constipation problems. I tried it quite thoroughly about 9 years ago, for about a month.
from what I'm reading, it seems to be geared toward ppl w diarrhea... bummer..
thanks.

Yeah, I was wondering about this too. I don't have a lot of the 'traditional' IBS symptoms, just a lot of gut dysbiosis, and all the simple sugars in the SCD diet made me feel awful...
