This is really interesting. There are some clearly non-evidence based claims, eg the statements that SSRIs are effective for depression - this is disproven by RCTs of SSRIs for depression in CFS patients. Likewise, claims about boom-bust, etc are speculation, with no evidence.
Where is the evidence that psychological factors perpetuate the illness? There is none. It's just a belief, surrounded by the usual pseudoscience conducted to support said belief.
Conducted by authors with vested interests in the illness being seen as psychological (their career, plus being on the payroll of insurance companies that save money by categorizing CFS as psychological disorder).
