We have that other great thread about robot vacuums, but lets hear from any of you that have tried floor mops. Pros and cons.

Here is what I have dredged up so far in reviews:

https://wiki.ezvid.com/best-robo-mops?id=bng

Anyone try any of these? Or any other one?

Since I have all ready purchased a Neato vacuum, I am thinking of getting a cheapo mop that does well since mop is all I need. From the second link, (this is for my reference) here is what I am hoping Santa will bring me. https://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/B01BAYXDXA/ezvid02-20

I missed it, not sure why. I always scan through the new posts list. Anyway, thanks Strawberry, I wasn't aware these existed so I'll be interested to look into it more.

We had a Neato vacuum which we loved at first, but after endless problems with it and poor customer support we went with a Robo vacuum.

@Sea Sorry to hear your Neato had to be replaced. I had problems with mine last weekend, it kept saying its bumper was stuck while it rotated quickly back and forth. I have been too ill to see if I can fix it, it breaks my heart to hear they have poor customer support that led you to replace yours. I hope I don't have to replace mine yet!

My robot vacuum (Philips brand "SmartPro") has a dry mop, but doesn't do proper mopping. We haven't tried out the dry mopping yet.

These are a new category, so I have a feeling they'll sorta kinda do the job. Wet mopping is different from dry mop or vacuuming, and it seems the stuff is being developed by either consumer product or robot (Roomba) companies, not the outfit that makes the 500 pound cleaning machine you see doing shopping malls etc, so I'll predict they do better on the robot part than the mopping part, at least until a few product cycles from now. If you wanna try one, I'd get one from someplace with a long guarantee policy. I'd also check prices for maid service.
Myself, I'm too tired to organize all the stuff now on the floor that needs to move so it can be washed. Totally opposite from my former self.
