Recommendations for a good private GP in West Midlands, UK

I need a doctor who is a good diagnostician and willing to think out of the box. I guess I'm going to have to pay privately. I live in the West Midlands / Warwickshire area of the UK. Willing to travel a reasonable distance. Any recommendations? Thanks.

You are after the holy grail sadly in the UK. Few doctors left who will treat PWME "out of the box" as the GMC jumps on them.

Dr William Weir sometimes travels to see patients and he is normally based in London

There's contact details if you scroll down here (and this isn't a personal recommendation for all the people listed i.e. Raymond Perrin)

I will add an NHS recommendation - just in case you do not want to spend a lot of money in the private sector!

We receive excellent reports about Dr Vinod Patel - who is a consultant endocrinologist in Nuneaton

Contact details are in the MEA website NHS services directory:

>> nuneaton

I don't know if he sees private patients as well - he may do

I am not aware of any private doctors in the East Midlands who are worth recommending in relation to ME/CFS

You could also post a message about this on our MEA Facebook page - we have a lot of members in the Midlands
