    Rich,

This is for you. You posted information about a test call plasma amino acids test.

I am getting the Methylation Pathways Panel test and I wanted to get the plasma
amino acids test done at the same time. Do you have any information on the plasma
amino acids test? The lab and where it is tested? The breakdown of what is being
tested. Also the cost of the test.

    Any information would be helpful.

    Thank you,

    Hi, jomo.

In the past, I have suggested the Metametrix 40 plasma amino acids test, which can be ordered here without a doctor's order:

    https://www.directlabs.com/OrderTests/tabid/55/language/en-US/Default.aspx

but I understand that the Life Extension test is less expensive. Both measure 40 amino acids in the plasma.
The latter can be found here, also available without a doctor's order:

    http://www.drvitaminsolutions.com/index.php?l=product_detail&p=679.

I think that in either case they will suggest a lab near you where the blood can be drawn.

    Best regards,

    Rich
