Myalgic Encephalomyelitis Global started this project:

    Toby Vokal posted the instructions:

The following map is designed for people with ME/CFS to pin their location. To show that we have a global epidemic.http://pininthemap.com/MEGlobal

(Step One): Click "add extra pin to this map" in green lettering on bottom of page. Use controls on left side of screen to find location. Left click once on location to pin. (Step Two): A box will appear. Add info such as city, state, and country. Check box "make your pin public". Enter password tv621977. Hit save. (Step Three): If you need help I can manually pin for you. All I need is your city, state, & country. Just PM Toby Vokal. Share this everywhere. Thanks!

I added a demonstration video. Thanks for everyone with ME/CFS who has put a pin on their location and those who will do so. Thanks!http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W4fT5t9kXIY

Higher population density on the coasts. More people = more people with ME

I wonder why there are a bunch along the west side of Lake Michigan, but few in Chicago, one in Minneapolis, and none in Detroit?

I noticed one person who had put the year they can down with ME/CFS. I think that might be an interesting detail to include. I couldn't edit my entry.

We want to try and count the number of people world wide with M.E./CFS or CFS or M.E. This link http://pininthemap.com/MEGlobal will take you to a global map. Click on the green print at bottom right side of map where it says 'add a new tag'. Go to your city and tag your location. A bubble will open where you can type a msg. Click on save - you will be asked for the password - tv621977.
If you have any trouble tagging – go to https://www.facebook.com/pages/Artz-Studios-Wendy-Boutilier/362435824512 - leave your city & country name under comments and we will tag it for you. If you have already pinned from another support group then you don’t need to tag again. Thanks for your help!
Pin in the map - mark a spot; attach text; send to others
