Off to see Dr Kogelnik next month - any tests definitely to ask for?

Am travelling from the UK and am booked in for August 28th, very excited. I am sure Dr Kogelnik will do a full work up on me, but having not had any specific ME/CFS testing before, are there any labs that I should definitely been asking for? Maybe if any of his current patients could give a run down of what blood tests he offers, that would be amazing as well :) Cheers y'all, Rob.

Here is a decent list of differentials to have eliminated if possible from the Stanford website:
http://chronicfatigue.stanford.edu/overview/diagnosis.html

They also review some of infections to look for:
http://chronicfatigue.stanford.edu/infections/

You will want to have a thorough infectious disease set of tests including HHV-6, EBV, CMV, Toxoplasma gondii, Lyme - Borrelia burgdorferi, Mycoplasma pneumoniae, Q Fever, Arbovirus, etc...

Natural Killer Cell Function test fro Focus Labs

IgG subclasses 1...4

Take a look at Dr Lerner's Diagnostic and Treatment guide:

Good Luck

You should probably contact the office and ask about anything you can do ahead of time. That way Dr. K will have more information to go on.
