Hello everyone. I was wondering whether anyone in the UK knows of a good specialist CFS occupational therapist, either in North London or willing to work via phone or Skype?

Thanks in advance :)

This is not a recommendation because I have not met this OT (Fiona Prior) who practices in London N13 but she has been in contact with the MEA to say that she works with people who have long term conditions, including ME/CFS

This is her website:

http://www.adaptiveot.com/people-with-long-term-conditions

And if you decide to take this further feedback would be appreciated

If you are able to travel, I can recommend Sue Pemberton in York, with whom I have worked on a number of ME/CFS related issues over the years, most recently disability assessment in relation to reform of the ESA WCA

Thanks, I will take a look at the Yorkshire clinic because I need the STEP program rather than adaptive OT. I can't travel but it says they do Skype. There's also South Coast Fatigue, but I don't know if they do Skype. Anyway thanks again, they look like a good clinic.
