NK cell function

I am looking to get NK cell function tested. I'm in the UK, but as far as I know, there is nowhere here that does this test. Has anyone in the UK managed to have this test done recently either here or sending samples overseas?

Please could anyone let me know which labs either in the US or Europe do this test? In the past Immunosciences in the US did it, but not any more.

Thanks

Marple, I saw in Larista video on youtube (user:kaisermecfs) that she found a place in Italy. Maybe you can ask her where.

There are two labs in germany but I don't know if they accept european/international customers.

The problem is that the blood sample needs to be there within 24h.
I'm going to do this test at Ganzimmun, because they also test standard and custom immunomodulators for NK-cell cytotoxicity. Don't know if Imunovir is a valid kind of NK-cell immunomodulator for this test, hope they'll tell me.

I have sent samples internationally to Redlabs. They don't list all their tests on their site, so calling them is a good idea.

The Perforin Expression Assay (NK cell activity) is listed on the RedLabs website as below. For those more knowledgeable: do you know if this is the same as the NK cell function test offered by other places? Many thanks for your help.

PERFORIN EXPRESSION ASSAY
Natural Killer cells (NK) cells are cytotoxic cells that mediate the immune response against certain cancer and virus-infected cells. NK cells are normally found in the peripheral blood, and are classified by their cell surface markers as CD3-/CD56+cells. NK cells activity is altered in several disorders such as multiple sclerosis, lupus, and CFS, and is very sensitive to various environmental pollutants. Since NK cells play a central role in the defense against viruses, decreased NK activity can lead to the development of opportunistic viral infections. NK cells exert their cytotoxic effect by releasing perforin, a protein that will destroy the cytoplasmic membrane of target cells and finally kill them. Expression of perforin mRNA can be measured as a mean to evaluate NK cell activation.
