For anyone that is dealing with a debilitating severe gastroparesis problem, there is a new surgical procedure being tried called G-POEM (gastric peroral endoscopic pyloromyotomy) which is showing good results in preliminary studies.
I have also seen it reported by patients in another forum (inspire.com) that their personal experience of the procedure has, for the most part, been very successful once things have settled down for a few weeks after the procedure.
