HEALING IS POSSIBLE
New Hope for Chronic Fatigue, Fibromyalgia, Persistent Pain and Other Chronic Illnesses
by Neil Nathan MD
Published by Basic Health Publications
Foreword by Jacob Teitelbaum, MD

Healing Is Possible is a new book by Neil Nathan, MD, and it is a revised, updated edition of his first book, On Hope and Healing: For Those Who Have Fallen Through the Medical Cracks.

This book offers clear, readable explanations for the causes and treatments for today’s onslaught of complex chronic illnesses. Dr. Nathan has broken down the most common imbalances which contribute to chronic illness into the categories of Big Six and Little Six. The Big Six consist of deficiencies and imbalances in adrenal, thyroid, and sex hormone functioning, magnesium deficiency, food allergy and overgrowth of toxic bacteria and yeast in the intestinal tract. The Little Six consist of heavy metal toxicity, hypoglycemia, mold toxicity, persistent infections (Lyme disease, viral illnesses, etc) and methylation chemistry issues. The section on methylation chemistry includes the ground-breaking research that was done with Dr. Rich van Konynenburg on the importance of methylation in Chronic Fatigue Syndrome.

The new book contains updated information in all areas, and new chapters on sleep disturbances, new technologies (FSM and the LENS) and new research.

It is hoped that this book will educate and empower those with chronic debilitating illnesses so that they can understand which testing and treatments may enable them to heal. Conventional medicine has been slow to accept these illnesses, and this book was written to provide directions for those who have “fallen through the medical cracks.”

Prospective readers can go to Amazon, read sections of the book there, and buy it on Amazon and Kindle. There is no specific web site for the book, but readers can go to www.gordonmedical.com for more information on Dr. Nathan, his clinic and research, blogs and more, or to the publisher's website at www.basichealth.com
