There are people that have got it Tania, you need your specialist to sign off that it is permanently disable and unlikely to ever recover. You also need to provide supporting documentation on the degree it impacts on your ability to live a normal life. If you follow the ME/CFS Australia Facebook group there are some that have been accepted and they are explaining what they needed to prove in order to be eligible.
It is harder than other diseases as it is not on the eligible list, but it doesn't mean that you cannot get it.
