@Radio thanks for the link, once one gets low enough down in the study it appears to benefit mainly as a vaso-dilator. It would be interesting to know if it is degrading to AMP (this is a known vasodilator). Not sure how that would work out for those with POTS, but it's a new slant on ATP isn't it?

One of the main factors in cell death is the oxidative stress caused by heavy metals such as cadmium and lead. These metals also interfere with pyruvate and glutathione enzymes.

Red beet juice has been found to form complexes that can help scavenge to these metals.

The obvious question raised by the article is whether delivering a postive charge into the Mitchondria is a good idea? Should that negative internal charge be messed up then you also mess up the electric field across the mitochondrial transporters. Bonding the CQ10 to aspartic acid or malic acid would have achieved the same things without any such damage simply using the Mitos inherent transporters.

Radio or anyone else, have you taken NTFactor? If so did it help? I have ordered Propax Gold.

    Hello Roxie,

I credit Lipid therapy for helping turn the corner in my recovery. I am now only using these supplements in my Mitochondria recovery protocol. The Propax Gold has a few supplements in there that could be a problem if you have a sulfur issue. We are work on a thread right now that will show research that Pyridoxal-5-Phosphate (P5P) can inhibits the PST (phenol sulphur-transferase) activity. Also, P5P is not water soluble and can build up in the body damaging the peripheral nervous system. The PST sulfation pathway may be a big contributing factor in CFS/ME. The Propax Gold has Vitamin B-6 (as pyridoxine HCl, pyridoxal 5' phosphate), Vitamin B-12 (as cyanocobalamin) these supplement could be a problem for many and I do not recommend Propax Gold.

    Dear Radio,
I read that your health "turned the corner" while using certain supplements. You credit LRT from Body Bio. I've been scouring the net trying to find out if lecithin will work as well. One member here said Rich V. said it should, but not as well. I reacted badly to Holtdorf NT factor. Did a challenge & took next day & have bad headache ALL day. But can take lecithin granules.
Thought about trying BodyBio, but hate to put out more money, unless there is a money-back guarantee. Do you know anything about Allergy Research.phospholipid formula or anyone here who is hypersensitive who has taken it/ and/or what worked for them?

Also - anyone have any success with liposomal glutathione?

    Any help appreciated.

    Hi, Saint

Lipid therapy can be expensive. But, I feel mitochondrial support is very important to help prevent further damage. BodyBio is one of the best lipid supplement you can buy. If i was looking for one supplement to support my Mitochondria, BodyBio would be my first choice. Also, I feel this product is superior to taking lecithin granules.

Thx for answer. I tried to find label online, to find out where they got their other omega's from, because I react to primrose, borage, and blackcurrant oil. I can take fish omega 3 (even though I'm a vegetarian) and started taking spirulina for GLA.

Hate to bother anyone too much - but had you tried lecithin granules and they didn't work? I've been taking them every day for a few weeks daily now, since info now out (or that I found) says LRT helps

Also, have you, or anyone tried "liposomal gluathione"?

Last - has anyone here ever "recovered" from cfs/ fms ? I thought that if they did, maybe they wouldn't be on here - they'd be off doing other things - unless you get really decent people that have been down that hard road, and want to give others a hand up (God bless them). I had talked to a young girl at doc's office who had cfs and she said "there is no cure, that's why they call it 'chronic' ". But I read about Dr. Teitelbaum recovering from it. Guess I'm looking for those who have beat this thing to do what they did. So very tired of trying so many things over the years that didn't work. I know it's all an emerging field, and I can only assimilate so much, then I have to stop; get overwhelmed.

    thx for your input.

I watched the video after I posted - so I am getting BodyBio. It is very encouraging to hear that you recovered - especially since I am having a terrible day today. I read so much it confuses me and I bounce around not knowing what to do.

What does PM you mean? If that means contact you I will.

    thx

Even though had a bad day, I took the BodyBio oil and thank God I didn't get a headache or bad reaction from. It is expensive, but if it works, it will be worth it. If I make substantial gains, will try to shift to a cheaper brand. You said "we are working on new research that could have a positive impact on this illness" - what treatments do you mean?

    thx for any help

Thanks for sharing your experience. I was going to try it, then read about the newer one that came out, but while searching, came back to this site where Fred said glutathione is dangerous. So, I decided to put on a back burner for now. I'm willing to try things, but after doctor damaged nerves (you wouldn't believe the ensuing pain- it's "the gift that keeps giving...") during "minimally invasive surgery" I am a little gun-shy. Then bought R-ALA and Andrew Cutler says is bad form, and that you have to take it on 3-4 hr. schedule or not at all. So it seems like you have to know what you're doing.

Have you tried, or thought about trying the new acetyl-glutathione? I read on pub-med that it causes cancer adoptosis - so some are getting good results with cancer. I've read so many times that glutathione is low in fibro/cfs - and many disease states, so I am trying to raise. Read that vitamin C helps.
