pretty common question im sure. - does the liver store methyl b12?
Yes, it is a known mechanism that the liver stores several years worth of B12 and high serum B12 is at times used as indicator of liver malfunction (of course excluding excessive supplementation).
As to which form of B12 is stored in the liver, that I don't know.
