Can You Come for a Visit? My ME/CFS Says No
My daughter and son-in-law just had a baby last week. We are thrilled. But we won't be able to see the baby or hold her any time soon. We won't be able to take over little gifts or help out with housework or babysitting.

    @Sasha
    I agree wholeheartedly, don't think there is anywhere to donate at present but yes we need him here, for all sorts of reasons, but I like the fact it'll also shake up the psychs:D

    It would be a great bit of networking to have all the UK ME/CFS researchers meet up, along with Prof Lipkin. It will be an opportunity to exchange thoughts and notes etc. Perhaps our friend @Jonathan Edwards will be able to attend the conference as well.

    Or, with some worthwhile exceptions, rip the piss out of the huge amount of rubbish research spun to look more impressive than it is?

    But we have many good ME researchers in the UK... For example, we have Julia Newton and, erm, er... oh... ah... ... ... :confused: ... Did I say Julia Newton?

    I'd donate to a fund for this. Great opportunity, well done MEA.

    a friend of mine tried to make a donation - she had to register first which I think is a big mistake for the charity, also the page failed when she did try to register so hiccups there. No donation from her then - hope she goes back to it

    Mary, I'm not sure if there is an online donation facility for this appeal. The contact details for making donations are within the text.
