Many Probiotics Are Contaminated with Traces of Gluten

    Thanks for this Ema. I've been remarking on the Resistant Starch and Miyarsin threads my dismay at discovering that Miyarsin includes corn starch, which is gluten cross-reactive. Some suggest that the bacteria will eat the cornstarch. Another suggestion for me to culture it in yogurt, which might be worth trying. Maybe it's due to my underlying Hashimoto's, I think I'm very susceptible to gluten cross-reactive substances. I've read on celiac forums that gluten antibodies (?) can remain active for up to 5 years after stopping all gluten intake. I'm very reluctant to push this particular envelope.:cautious:
