Hi everyone,

I'm creating a wiki page with a very simple list of historical ME research papers and articles.

The wiki pages is here:
http://forums.phoenixrising.me/show...+ME+Research+Literature+and+other+information

And I'm seeking more research articles to add.
If anyone has any links to any papers or articles, please could you post them here or send me a private message.

The main purpose of the wiki is to collate literature related to the historical 'ME' definitions and outbreaks.
So I'm focusing on research before 1990, which is a couple of years after the CDC invented the CFS criteria...
And I'm especially collating research relating to the 63 (?) documented ME outbreaks.
But I'm also adding some other interesting research literature and info about CFS which has ramifications for historical ME.

Thanks for any help you can give.

Bob

rlc, that's a really helpful and totally relevent list of links that you provided...
Thank you.

I've now added them all to the wiki.
I've categorised them under year, author and outbreak, but I may not have categorised all the outbreaks yet... It's a work in progress.

The wiki page has become too long for the system to handle, so I've had to create a 'Section 2' in a new wiki page.

Hi Bob thanks for your wonderful work!! The wiki page is looking really good, anymore links I find Ill post here for you. I think the great thing about doing this is that the ME epidemics of the past are something that a lot of people dont know much about and now its all in being collected in one place it will help people understand a lot more what the history of this illness really is, as opposed to the nonsense that is put out by the likes of the CDC and the Wessely school. It also means that when the press put out their usual rubbish stories about it being an illness that appeared in the 1980s and is some sort of psychiatric illness, people will be able to send them the link to the wiki page and tell them theyve got a lot of reading to do, and would they mind getting their facts straight before printing anymore garbage!!

Thanks again Bob

All the best
