Hi,
People with Fatty Liver are often suggested to stay away from Alcohol.
Nowadays, some of the tinctures in the supplement market are being made with Vegetable Glycerin instead of Alcohol. My question is: Is Glycerin also harmful to fatty liver? Isn't Glycerin a form of Alcohol?
Thanks

When I see them made with glycerin, their top selling point is they're "alcohol-free".

I found this: "Vegetable glycerin, or glycerol, is a clear, odorless liquid produced from plant oils, typically palm oil, soy, or coconut oil."

I'm not sure about other types of glycerin.
