I follow this website pretty frequently just to a different perspective on things. It's focus is the mitochondria and looks at broad perspectives as to what may effect it including viruses and lack of Co-Q10.

Here is another website "15th Annual Meeting of the European Society for Clinical Virology Madrid, Spain 4 September 2012 - 7 September 2012". Here is the link to the presentations and honestly much I had know idea what the heck they were talking about. They did discuss EBV, CMV and other pathogens, so some of you may be able to pull some information out of it
