It may be a new field in academic terms but it did have a moment of being fashionable in the late 80's and early 90's. From that period I wasn't helped and none of the other "classic" (i.e. before the term CFS was invented) patients were helped then. The engineer working with it at the time was disappointed. He may have been able to help a subgroup of something though (I just don't know if it will ever have any relevance to "classic ME" or a viral CFS or maybe "just" an ideopathic CF?) Would be great if this had moved on and developed to be able to be used to treat one group of patients with something so will watch for any evidence.
