How should I test for nutrition?

I am wondering how should I approach the testing for vitamins and minerals. I could go to a metabolic nutritionist or try to find an integrated medical doctor. I think that I should have an idea for what the best type of testing is and what lab to use before going to any type too.

Is Spectracell good or is it questionable? Do they test all the critical vitamin forms? What other options I have? What kind of doctor would be likely to order and interpret better?

Thanks.
