GREAT Tips to improve (6 years experience)

Hello,
This topic is MY OPINION what I think helps. It's no medical advice. I just want to share what worked for me.
My CFS case is about MENTAL fatigue. I do exercise alright, but they can't cope with normal life, can't have a job or stay awake in the afternoon. Have more energy late in the night when they supose to sleep.
I want to share with all how I did to improve a bit.
First of all, Tyrosine supplement is a precursor to DOPAMINE.
I did the Dopamine Challenge. I Stopped all realising sources of dopamine. This means: NO SEX, OR MASTURBATION, or Games, or Stay in Facebook, of Computer after 6pm.
I wanted to reset my dopamine receptors. WHY do I get better at night?

Besides that, all my hormones are shitty. To have great hormones I need to have great cholesterol. To have great cholesterol I need to have great LIVER.

I Take Selenium, Alpha Lipoic Acid, LDN and Silymarin to HEAL the liver (search for doctor berkson in youtube)

Masturbation causes me Hormonal imbalances. I had to STOP Porn and Masturbation(dopamine downregulation)
Masturbation also spikes cortisol my cortisol, messing hormones even more.

I Take HIGH doses Vitamin D, because it helps A LOT auto immune diseases.
I also take Lugol to assist Thyroid, so thyroid will help adrenals (fixing all hormones)

I also stay away for computer at night to calm down the body and have way better sleep.

And I wake up without alarm

I get the sex drive goes down hill, but many here are married, and all men masturbate, even with chronic fatigue.

I was kidding but I don't think your sex point is correct. Maybe it is for dopamin but lack of sex is terrible for other problems, increasing depression, anxiety ( which are common symptoms with CFS). Don't want to enter in a long debate but I don't think you can claim that the dopamin factor is bigger and more important than lack of oxytocin and so many others ''chemical'' reasons to continue practicing sex.

Saying that I should totally follow your advises about games, computer, TV during the night ( even if I'm too lazy to do so but you are totally right :) )

PS : @Theodore close youporn now!

@taroopher, would you mind giving the dosage of Lugols you take, and the reason behind this? There is some debate over the amount of Iodine we should take, and, if you have improved, I would be interested to hear what amount you were taking.

Also: so what do you do after 6pm each evening, lol...

I tried your main tip (celibacy) for several months, about 3 times and never felt any better (over the course of 6 years of illness).

Just go without orgasm for 15 days and tell me what you feel
Well, I have done without any of that for several years due to always being too ill, and it hasn't done anything to help MY dopamine response! AT ALL!

There are clearly other mechanisms at play.
