Hi,

I would like to know the difference between folic acid and folinic acid. I know the active form used by the body is L-Methylfolate and a number of steps are there for conversion of folic acid to L-Methylfolate.

But what is folinic acid and how is it used by the body when comparing it with folic acid and L-Methylfolate?
If you have any links/files for the biochemistry of it and the effectiveness( absorption), please share.

Thanks!
