Hi,

Can you guys pls tell me if these supplements would be okay (no follic acid and non-racemic form) to treat a folate deficiency :

- L-5-MTHF 1000 - 60 Vegetarian Capsules - Seeking Health
http://www.yourhealthbasket.co.uk/index.php?l=product_detail&p=2245

- Jarrow Formulas, Methyl Folate, 60 Capsules
http://www.iherb.com/Jarrow-Formula...=0&lc=en-US&w=jarrow folate&rc=7&sr=null&ic=1

I'm also looking for a good b-complex because I took Jarrow B-right until now and I highly suspect it might have worsen the deficiency due to the follic acid in it.

Are these ones good :

- Super B Complete 60 Vegetarian Capsules

- Thorne Research, Stress B-Complex, 60 Veggie Caps
http://www.iherb.com/Thorne-Researc...en-US&w=thorne b complex&rc=1049&sr=null&ic=4

How much folate can I take and should I take Methylcobalamin along with it? Thanks

Best regards from France,
Adrien

The Seeking Health ones should be good. They are formulated by Dr. Lynch who specializes in mutations. I know some others here use the Solgar methylfolate. I just ordered some Solgar myself because it's cheaper. I got it off Amazon.

Thanks for your reply, it was out of stock so I ordered the integrated health brand 5-MTHF, I asked the company and they did confirm me this contains only the active non-racemic form of folate and no folic acid.
