Falling asleep in the evening

Messages

Hi, anyone else have problems staying awake in the evening? whatever I try, nothing seems to work..I can fall asleep trying to read my emails, trying to watch tv...its like someones got a remote control to my brain..I've got no control over it, its driving me nuts...I can fall asleep holding a cuppa, having my dinner sometimes.Anyone know of a suppliment or something (not cafiene) that might help? My gp claims to to be be a cfs/me specialist, but shes not up to much as I've told her about this before, but nothing...Anyone any ideas?
Cheers Rich

Have you done a sleep study? How do you sleep at night? Falling asleep during the day like that is a symptom of disturbed sleep or sleep apnea. But you could also just not be sleeping well due to CFS which I suspect is the case for all of us.
