ME/CFS: A disease at war with itself
We can all agree that ME/CFS is a nasty disease, particularly in its severe form, but there are abundant nasty diseases in the world. What is unique and particularly confounding about our disease is that so much controversy surrounds it, and not only surrounds it, but invades it too.

Apologies if this has already been posted, but I thought that this 90 minute talk by Dr Vernon would be of considerable interest. It is necessary to register in advance.

Best wishes to everyone in this roller-coaster time

and plenty of   all round.

(Perhaps we will have to start chaining ourselves to railings before long if the news doesn't improve :(...........In the UK, the suffragettes threw themselves under horses' hooves........ :tear: I wonder if they still force-feed civil rights' protestors in jail.... :D Any volunteers???)

Good points- I think the webinar will give us a chance to see some good news about ME/CFS research - well worth it to take a break from the XMRV question for awhile. I'm looking forward to it.

gac! - that brought a smile to my face - :Sign giggle::Sign giggle:

I can tell, Koan, that you spend a lot of time "talking" with your dog!

You can listen by phoning in, so you should still be able to hear it.

    Koan,

When I said that you must spend a lot of time talking with your dog, I meant that as a compliment. I find your emotional rapport wonderful and immediate.

    Thank you!

Kim, Yes, it's interesting isn't it! Great slides. I think it is going to be a good presentation, judging by the rehersal.

Ah! Someone has just managed to tell them that we can hear! Phew!
