Dr Mirkin has been around forever and has a large following so a lot of people will be reading this article.

Overall a positive article, but he says some contradictory stuff about ME, :

"People with this condition can take weeks to recover from minor exertion."

but then in his recommendations

"Exercise"

@ScottTriGuy As a person with both ME and RA, I found this article particularly interesting. I guess it's not surprising that a sports medicine doctor would recommend exercise. And, if not for the strong emphasis on ME in the article, this advice may be appropriate. I've certainly noticed that my acquaintances with several of the other autoimmune illnesses listed (Crohn's, Lupus, MS, Diabetes Type 1, Sjogren's) are much less functionally-impaired than I am. So, I agree -- overall a positive article.
