Why do you believe these CFS specialists took up the illness? for the money, possibly an inflicted member of the docs family, What mystifies me is that they welcome CFS patients in their office. EVEN early on 70s-80s, when they didnt know much about it. Many have speculated a virus for quite some time, so why were/are these docs so willing to see us? (if they could possibly get infected themselves) no doc in their right mind would take the risk of possibly catching me-cfs And this question is kind of far-fetched but I will use an analogy to illustrate my point. Once infected with HIV, if that individual has sex with more HIV+ partners, he or she would be vulnerable to more strains which would worsen his or her symptoms. Same true of CFS? I mean lets say hypothetically it is transmitted via air, then wouldnt it be risky to visit CFS specialist doctors offices. Is it Possible to get a worse case of CFS after visiting a CFS clinic or docs office because of all the cfs people that are presently there or have been there? I might pick up a more deadly strain via contamination or unsanitary conditions. Maybe I should wear a face mask before stepping foot inside!?Paranoa ? Now there is some misleading information by PR and NAtiatal cfids memoral page (listing reported deaths) They say "Jason L. Brekenridge, 23, died on December 16, 2005 in Baldwinsville, NY. An autopsy found he died of a seizure. http://www.ncf-net.org/memorial.htm But the news says he died in a car accident speeding 70mph!! http://www.highbeam.com/doc/1G1-110492934.html So did this 23 year old male really die from a seizure? ? Also there are some people out there that simply WANT us to have this illness. More money for them.
