New era for ME/CFS research as top cytokine study attracts media headlines
The immune systems of patients who have recently developed ME/CFS look markedly different from those who have been ill for much longer, according to a major new study from Drs. Ian Lipkin and Mady Hornig at Columbia University. This shift in immune function hadn’t been seen before.

    Thanks Sushi!
VERY interesting. Knowing my test results, through most of that video I felt like he was talking all about me - that gives me a lot of confidence that he sees the same thing in other patients and is why he is talking about it.

Very interesting. Seems to be saying:

Activated immune system e.g. in response to 'mild' sources of inflammation ~ alpha hydroxylase ~ vit D 1,25 ~ conditions for reactivation of certain viruses e.g. herpesviridae

This tallies with some of my thoughts on the relationship between Dr. Rowe's (inflammatory) nerve sensitisation and never fully under control herpesviruses like EBV
