I've been to a lot of doctors so time to ask the real experts. I had kidney stones last Nov. and Feb.(with kidney infection) then after the stones had continuing pain in spot in lower right abdomen. Last spring gyno said she thought is was a full cecum. Over few months the pain in this spot went away. Also I seemed to be getting UTI's and sometimes kidney pain, first positive then culture negative. After another bout with fever, kidney pain and sulfa drug the pain in this area returned. This fall had kidney pain attacks every 2 to 4 weeks. The last few attacks I could feel started in this one spot then got worse and worse until radiated into the back and kidney area. I was taking d-mannose which i found in the cystitis posts. Urologists and other doctors say uhuh... When i had the first stone they took 2 cat scans because one was out of focus. I didn't want the second. Had a third with Feb. stone because was almost passing out for days, I thought had to be blasted.
So does cystitis feel like kidney stone pain, goes to about 8 in pain from about a 2. I'm looking for someone with the same kind of pain, like a small coal until it catches on fire. Or who can say that is not typical of cystitis or colitis or diverticultis. Feels like need emergency room. Brings on chills and vomiting. On wikipedia same area as appendix and also common area for crohn's. Definitely seems inflammatory. Usually associated with some uti tingling, but also have swollen joints, eye inflammation and eczema with attacks associated with colitis, have been saying all year seem like a syndrome together. Went to gastro, said hydrate (which I have already been doing for POTS or stones) this includes potassium which would make cystitis worse. Feel the spot when I lift my knee or any pressure in area.
