Coconut oil is giving me gas... how do I combat that?

I take a teaspoon of coconut oil every day and I am convinced its giving me gas issues.
I keep taking it because I believe its having an overall positive effect on me despite the gas.
I wonder if the coconut oil is breaking up bad bacteria in my gut?

Anyway, - how do you combat this kind of gas issue?
