As indicated in the Federal Register Notice of 11/29/2016, a meeting of the Chronic Fatigue Syndrome Advisory Committee (CFSAC) will be held in Washington, D.C. on Thursday, January 12, 2017, from 12:00 to 5:00 p.m. ET, and Friday, January 13, 2017, from 9:00 to 5:00 p.m. ET. As stated in the notice, the Committee welcomes input on any topic related to ME/CFS. However, please be advised that the Committee is particularly interested in receiving comments and suggestions regarding specific issues to be discussed during the meeting. Such topics include:


  • school accommodation issues
  • methods/programs for meaningful stakeholder engagement
  • clinical care and medical education challenges
  • and/or the stigma associated with this disease

As instructed in the FRN, please email the CFSAC general inbox if you’d like to speak to the committee.

Deadline to submit written public comment (up to 5 pages, single-spaced, 12 point font) to the Committee prior to the 12th please email them no later than Thursday, January 5th 2017, (5pm Eastern time).
