The Real ME: A Stock Photography Resource for the Media
We’ve all seen them in the news stories about ME/CFS: the guy in a suit at the office, yawning; the beautiful woman sitting at her desk with her immaculate make-up and elegantly coiffed hair, hand to her head and looking slightly pained.

Rik Carlson, of Vermont CFIDS Association, speaks about his recent movie in a three-part interview. http://www.invisibleillnesspodcast.com/

The story is interesting. He mentions the anger he felt when he realized his physician was ignorant of it. I appreciate how we are all attacking the need for change on many fronts.

Some are doing research, others are doing public advocacy, some are providing information to patients, some are working toward physician education.

Rik takes the approach of helping people with their day to day, close to home issues. He wants families to understand the illness so they will be more supportive of those who are sick.

Thank you Rik for mentioning the work PANDORA does.

It takes a village, I guess.
