Brain "snap" or brain twitch

Anyone have an experience like this?

A few days ago I was looking at a picture, and couldn't quite figure out what I was seeing (this happens often). Then suddenly my brain went "snap" (audible in my head) and made my whole body twitch a bit, similar to a startle jump. Immediately after the "snap", I could suddenly "see" the picture.

I don't even know if this in the right sub forum! But I assume it is neurological?

Any guesses?

With this illness, expect anything unexplainable.

I get that snap sound in my inner ear.
