There's no bloodtest that can check for "stomach damage". You need to visit a gastroenterologist and undergo a gastroscopy with maybe a biopsy to check if the varicella zoster virus is reponsible.
A 3-day stooltest might show bloodtraces when you have a bad case of gastritis.

How has your varicella zoster virus been diagnosed?
