    This article for the CFS / ME community can be viewed with pessimism or optimism. It is unfortunate that the chances of NIH funding CFS research will grow dimmer. However, if the CFS community can draw attention from philanthropists, basic research can be quickly accelerated.

    I am grateful to those in CFS / ME that work diligently to raise awareness. Hopefully, we will find a sympathetic ear of a billionaire...
