Bed bugs?

Has anyone read the new research suggesting that bed bugs might be carriers of several diseases? I know the older research says they don't carry anything-but it seems now that they could.

I ask this because I was well in 2011, and then was bitten by bed bugs in a rented apartment. Now I'm wondering if any of my "tick borne" illnesses were not tick borne.

You can test for Midichloria Mitochondrii found in a high % of 'hard' ticks (Euro Lyme ticks), using Redlabs in Belgium (Europe).
