Can You Come for a Visit? My ME/CFS Says No
My daughter and son-in-law just had a baby last week. We are thrilled. But we won't be able to see the baby or hold her any time soon. We won't be able to take over little gifts or help out with housework or babysitting.

Just voted - we're in 8th place, but not very safely.

Nice to see on the graph that our pool of voters has increased every day - let's hope that keeps up and that they're all ready to go once the semi-finals start!

3130. There are now 880 independent supporters - about ~260 more than 3-4days ago! Great recruiting :)

PS: Is anyone else having problems posting a comment? On the one hand, the thing seems to recognise me (i.e. it says 'Posting as _____ ' with a comment button beside it). Yet every time I click the comment button, I get '

I have been watching the contestants below us down to 18th place because I thought they were the greatest threat. Three days ago Cultural Café came into 15 place from below that and is now 7th. We are still vulnerable to last minute surges from those close behind us. Everyone needs to keep voting through the week-end. That is sometimes when others slack off.

I vote usually around 7pm at night.
When it finishes I think it will take me a week to forget that I don't have to vote. :)

3610 votes and 8th place in our category. Now 945 independent supporters! That's another 50-60 voters since yesterday!

Thanks for the reply. The problem is that I'm logged in but still can't comment.

we are doing well. One group (Cultural Cafe) has dropped way down. I saw this on their FB page "Hi all, sad to inform you that we will loose over 1000 votes from our Aviva project. Unusual voting method has been used to vote for us. I know this is a good project to support, however, let us do it in a proper way according to the rules. Although we will drop out of top 10, but we still have the chance to make back in. I just need everyone of you to cast your vote everyday for the remaining 3 days. We can do it! Let us vote, vote, and vote!"
I am glad to see Aviva is watching!

Yep. We're almost into the last day's voting.

I picked this up on their Facebook page earlier this morning:

Thanks for all your votes. They are really counting up. Let's keep up the momentum. We need to stay in the top ten.

4412 votes. We now have over 1005 independent supporters who voted for us!

Having said that, some people have stopped voting over the past two days - we need to keep going, just in case we get overtaken in the last day (it's happened before!).

Do you know what place you finished in? When I looked at the rankings page it already had the entrants for the next contest.

I did find the page with the 30 finalists. Of the 30 finalist, excepting one in French that I couldn't figure out, 10 (that's 1/3!) are for domestic animals, 2 are for wild animals, and 7 are for playgrounds and/or pools.

Animals and children seem to be the vote-getters. Maybe you need some children with ME in your promotions!
