I know someone who works for a company that does click work. I haven't done it, but I think it is just looking at websites and clicking on what you think about them. It is designed to help improve search engines. For example...here's a site for breast cancer treatment... is this pornographic or informational?

You get paid a certain amount per click. If you are fast at it, you can earn more. If you are slow at it, my friend said people who are really slow tend to just stop doing it because it's not worth it.

I think the pay is low but you can do it at home on your own schedule as much or as little as you want.

Some of the images are violent or pornographic, though. I would proceed with care if someone has ptsd or might find this too triggering. My friend said you can choose not to sign up for the pornography ones, but even so, you are looking at the unfiltered internet...

I believe you can just google "click work" and it will lead to some places where you can sign up to do this. Obviously, be very careful before giving out your personal identifying details to anyone online. Make sure it is a legitimate site. I will see if I can find the one my friend does.

This makes me wonder how good of a job many of these people are doing. Do they take enough time the evaluate the sites accurately? That doesn't mean it wouldn't be a good job.

I doubt they try to do a very good job. I think click work is fast. You just spend a real little time and then move on to the next site. Though there are some where you are supposed to write a sentence and those pay higher.

I think the computer tracks it, if you click totally randomly eventually the computer will see that your answers are too different from the other evaluators and they won't hire you anymore.

Yes, I make my living online selling my art. It gets me by. I'm trying to now get into digital downloads so I don't even have to print, pack and ship the art. It's like a royalty fee every time I make a sale. Still new to it, so haven't made many sales in digital downloads but I have made some. I would love this business model to take off because it means I don't have to do anything apart from creating initial artwork and uploading it.
