@Misfit Toy who are you working with? I know there is another woman in his practice and then another nutritionist who works with his practice but isn't a part of mensah medical. I called in to Mensah medical and was quoted something significantly higher than those rates. Literally over ten times that.
Just had my 1 month follow-up today. He found a ton of stuff my neither my GP nor the useless "specialists" my GP sent me to found. Drew more blood and ran even more tests as a follow-up to some of the previous test results, I was there for about 5 1/2 hrs today. Left with 5 prescriptions, some answers, and some hope. Nothing in this disease is guaranteed cure wise, but at least we have a clue now what's going on.Firefly have you received any real benefit from this doctor? What protocols do they use? Just wondering. $515 is expensive, but still, the quote I got from Mensah Medical is still more expensive than that by close to double.
Which is a rip-off because you can't even treat this or manage it like you can diabetes.I'm finding that no one is cheap who really treats this.
Why do you say that? My daughter and are both decently managed and get a lot of treatments through ME/CFS specialists, none of whom were particularly expensive relative to local GPs or other specialists (cardiologists, endocrinologists, etc). In fact, they were cheaper than most local specialists.Which is a rip-off because you can't even treat this or manage it like you can diabetes.
@Bdeep86 -I just want to say Sami is cheap compared to Mensah. She's $75 for a half hour.
I felt way better mentally from the higher dose of zinc, p5p and B6 but had to go down on them as I could not sleep a wink! So, I'm on zinc right now and EPO.
I also had bad neuropathy but I have Sjogrens which does not make it easy.
A slow process. I don't believe this to be a cure but I need guidance, more than I would get from PR.
@Firefly_ Are you seeing Mensah?
Sami I would not recommend, this protocol in general is doubtful for treating CFS
I am wondering if you have any update on the mensah/walsh protocol you were following. I had a phone consult with Dr Mensah couple of days ago as I am undermethylated.
