    this also puts a spanner in the works of the psych theory of stress (negative thoughts) and stressful life experiences being behind immune dysfunction in 'psychological' or 'psychosomatic' disorders, as you can't really accuse newborns of conditioning and 'thinking themselves unwell' ...
