After nearly six years of ME I finally have abnormal blood results. It's very exciting!

I had my bloods done to check my thyroid levels, I was supposed to be keeping an eye on them, having underactive thyroid running in our family.

I'm going to see my endocrinologist this afternoon and am so excited to see if she can explain all the out of normal range results.

I've looked up explanations but there's a lot of conflicting blood results, so I'm confused.

I've been a lot worse since November, maybe there's something else on top of the ME, or maybe it's just something finally showing up.

    Good luck with the thyroid.

I've been suffering from Hashimoto's for a long time. It's not been easy. I was told today my last test results since using thyroid supplements are within the normal range for the first time. It took me 5 months to achieve this. I feel a bit better in general but I probably have other problems, adrenaline issues that are not resolved yet.

Try to get a proper diagnosis, ask all the Q's. ask why it is underactive? I hope you'll get it fixed easily with supplementing.

Sigh. Ok, thanks to brain fog, I mis read the thyroid bloods. And the other ones were size of blood cells which seemingly is a nothing reading anyway. My cholesterol was up, which it never was before, but she said it was the one easily fixed by diet. I eat quite healthily I thought, so I need to research that one. Also my goiter in my neck has grown. So I need to have an ultrasound to make sure it isn't growing towards my airways. And to make sure it's a "friendly" growth. I was too brain fogged in there to ask further questions after hearing that one. I had asked what caused a goiter. She said that it can be nodules in the neck, which had been found on the scan the last time. And that they were mostly benign but that we needed to check. After that I didn't think of asking what caused the bloody things to grow in the first place. So I need to research that too. I was lucky that my mam was around to mind my 3 year old so when I got home I was able to crash in bed for an hour. Up now and somehow have to find the energy to function for the rest of the day!

Edit: Turns out, if the thyroid bloods are fine that they don't know what causes nodules.
