How Do You Feel In The Morning?

Often when I first wake up I feel okay for about an hour then I start feeling crappy again. Usually by late afternoon I start feeling better.

Vitamin D and sleep - Worth a shot

Life would be so much better for me if I could just sleep properly! Sometimes I just think about the last time I got some deep sleep (which was many years ago) and I can still remember the feeling of being in a deep sleep and waking up refreshed.

Probiotics the answer for some of us??

I definitely was experiencing alot of the symptoms you speak of. EXTREME bloating, EXTREME gas, along with upset stomach, aching bowels. I gathered from much reading that it was/is a candida overgrowth. Those symptoms have subsided with the use of ultimate flora but I still get the odd bout of...

Probiotics the answer for some of us??

With the exception of alot of previous stress, most of my problems started after taking strong antibiotics. I got a yeast infection, then my b12 went down and I had high homocystiene levels. That was 2 years ago and I've been fighting ever since.

Probiotics the answer for some of us??

I get to sleep fine and sleep for 3 hours then up every hour. I almost never get deep sleep. The only time I had any luck was when I was taking metafolin. Great deep sleep but felt horrible and depressed during the day so had to discontinue.

Probiotics the answer for some of us??

I have tried others but do not recall the brand or type. And yes, in the past couple of years there have been more studies linking bad flora health to everything from anxiety/depression to CFS and other ailments. I'm not saying I'm cured by any means as I'm pretty certain that I suffer from...

Probiotics the answer for some of us??

One thing I've noticed over the past couple of years is when I stop taking probiotics I start to feel like garbage again. It usually takes a few weeks of taking them to start feeling better but they make a big difference. When I'm on them I rarely have fatigue (maybe a few times in a month...

What has helped more with your sleep?

As a few have said there are many things that can cause sleeping problems. The most recent research suggest that there is likely something going on with certain genes being activated or deactivated that in turn permanently changes how are sleep/wake cycles react. This most likely occurs after a...

    B12 working but can't sleep.....

I've also tried Jarrows b12 and my yeast infection went into hyperdrive. I had some at work and a female friend of mine who suffers from yeast infections off and on tried one because she was tired and hers got really bad as well. Very strange indeed!

    B12 working but can't sleep.....

Yes, I realize that but you're assuming I'm not absorbing enough methylfolate through diet which has yet to be proven in my case. I know b12 for sure though.

    B12 working but can't sleep.....

I do but I don't suffer from a lot of the symptoms that I read about here as I figured out pretty fast why I was dizzy and tired. It actually all started from a yeast infection oddly enough. But anyway, I feel pretty good when I take it but if I take too much I can't sleep. Judging by the great...

    B12 working but can't sleep.....

I'm actually more then likely absorbing more of the Natural Factors as it was under my tongue unlike the Enzymatic Therapies where I just swallowed it. Both were 1000mcg. Anyway, just thought it was kind of weird that depending on where my body absorbs it I get different reactions.

    B12 working but can't sleep.....

Whoops, the brand of sublingual I've been taking is Natural Factors. Lots of good reviews about it on iherb.com. I read that enzymatic therapy was the one to take but I'm switching back.

    B12 working but can't sleep.....

This has happened before but only when I take the type of methyl b12 that you swallow opposed to a sublingual under the tongue. It just doesn't make any sense.

    B12 working but can't sleep.....

I recently switched my b12 from Source Naturals to Enzymatic therapy and although during the day I felt fine at night my legs felt like they were vibrating and I couldn't sleep at all. Why would that be?

    B12 working but can't sleep.....

Update Since my last post I've been experimenting with doses of mb12 and metafolin. In around Feb of this year I was taking 1000mcg of mb12 and around 400mcg of metafolin. I did start experiencing deeper sleep but later in the night and only for around 2 hours. I also felt terrible during the...

    B12 working but can't sleep.....

Thanks, I just ordered some TMG and metafolin so I will see how I make out with that and I will also look into folinic acid. I've actually come along way from where I was six months ago. I was depressed and suffering from panic attacks which I've never experienced before. Not to mention the VERY...

    B12 and Insomnia

Thanks to the link to this very informative thread (thanks Freddd). How did you make out with your experimenting? Are you sleeping better now? What would you recommend I do today to get on the road to good sleep? Should I be adding adb12, or should I get some folate? If so how much should I...

    B12 working but can't sleep.....

My sleep symptoms starting getting bad at the exact same time I started getting most of my low b12 symptoms. I would go to bed and sleep alright but when I woke up I felt like I hadn't slept at all and had huge bags under my eyes. At the moment I'm cutting down to 2500 mcgs every 2 days (in the...

    B12 working but can't sleep.....

I had 1 injection and I didn't sleep well for around 4-5 days after. Since then I've been on the sublinguals which don't affect my sleep as much.

    B12 working but can't sleep.....

You're correct, I am not currently supplementing with folic acid. I seem to recall reading, that in Canada alot of foods are fortified with it so I assumed I was getting enough. However that may not be the case. How much and when should I take it? I have not had a genetic test done but I am...

    B12 working but can't sleep.....

Hello Adster, thanks for the reply. I'm currently taking it in the morning so that's not the problem. I do have that kind of magnesium around so I will try that and I will also look into potassium chloride. I was taking the magnesium before just as a relaxant but I was getting heart palpitations...

    B12 working but can't sleep.....

Thanks for the reply. No, I haven't seen a sleep specialist mainly because it only got really bad when my low b12 symptoms appeared so I assumed they were connected. That is something I should look into however. Oddly enough, since starting b12 supplements there's been a couple of nights were...
