Study links health risks to electromagnetic field exposure

The dose response does not at all suggest electromagnetic field exposure being the causal factor, the group who experienced the second lowest levels had a quite significantly higher miscarriage rate than the group exposed to the very highest levels. I would put my money on something else...

    Emergency, Please Help

If you are having some sort of emergency I'd advise you to talk to doctors not random forum members, what did the doctors tell you ? Are you aware this methylation cycle theory was really just a proposal by Rich van Konynenburg, there is so far little supporting evidence beyond anecdotes and an...

    Chronic Lyme scam.

Well it depends, there are those who either know or don't care if it is a scam and are just in it because there is a good market for it, then there are those who genuinely believe in it and are sure they are helping people, without being certain who is in which group it would be hard to decide.

reality television show 24 CFS/ME patients move out to desert

To do it properly you'd need a control, so build two separate communities that are indistinguishable but only one of which would special precautions be taken to minimise environmental hazards. The residents would be randomly allocated and must not know in which community they are living.

"Got ME? Just SMILE!" - Media coverage of the SMILE trial…..

Didn't they try and pull this single blind misrepresentation on the PACE trial too on the grounds that the statistician was blind to the treatment groups even though neither the participants nor the therapists were in any way blinded.

    Some concerns about homeopathy

I'm curious why that you got it free is an important point, I'm glad you didn't lose any money but someone paid for it ? I suspect most GPs have no expectation of it having any effect beyond placebo but prescribe it anyway as it doesn't cost very much, makes the recipient satisfied that they got...

    Some concerns about homeopathy

I accept people get better from illnesses while taking homeopathic medicine, people also get better from illnesses while taking no medicine at all. If it works then where does the effect go when you try and measure it in a properly controlled trial ?

My success story. Tons of biotin.

It is not necessarily a problem but promoting a product you have a financial interest in (even if it is small) is a conflict of interest that I think should be declared so that members can take that into account when deciding whether or not to follow your advice.
