    UK MAST Specialists

Hello I am now dealing with escalating MAST symptoms. Primarily bowel, but others too. I have 20 yrs of CFS & Crohn's too. Now the food is MAST triggering my CFS and I can barely eat anything. I need a Dx and treatment. But where do I go to find this. Most advice talks about how...

has anyone tried Dr Nemechek Vagus Nerve?

Where are you up to Cipher? There are quite a few hyphotheses about whatever is suppressing the vagus nerve. Is there any certainty about being able to identify vagus nerve infections? as they are very local and specific. I did something stupid and got my connectors mixed up and thought the...

has anyone tried Dr Nemechek Vagus Nerve?

There is an application of t-vns called called e-ravans where the stim is applied on the outbreath only. I believe I have read of this intervention being used in a study with war veterans with ptsd. Thats interesting anne_likes_red, I need to learn more about e-RAVANS. There's annoying up and...

has anyone tried Dr Nemechek Vagus Nerve?

Im sure it would, I suppose the Beurer is shipped from within UK, so a bit easier/cheaper to get hold of. And the cycle seems similar for both too. Good luck with it, I am finding it actually mega mega helpful, and using it at the maximum levels recommended.

has anyone tried Dr Nemechek Vagus Nerve?

Hi anne_likes_red, I read this topic with interest a few months ago and it inspired me to pick up my Tens again, and try to create a better earpiece... (I had used this several years ago, but found it was giving me headaches and I gave up. I think it was your advice to turn the frequency down)...

Did you make any progress with this Hipsman? Ive had a look and that model you were looking at isn't available in the UK, so Im looking at the Beurer...

has anyone tried Dr Nemechek Vagus Nerve?

So Cipher how have you got on with the VNS? I have been using a continuous Med Fit 3, and am looking for something with cycle so I can wear for longer without it getting too much... How have you found the Beurer EM49? It is the only one I have found, apart from the Neurotrac Sport XL (which...

how can I stay in aerobic zone of exercise without knowing when anaerobic is kicking in?

Well its on topic for me @MeSci. My HPA Axis is definitely amiss. I hadn't thought that that might be down to Mito too, but as you say, of course it could. Certainly when I am ill compared to when I am well, I react completely differently to stress, and have seemingly normal levels of stress...

how can I stay in aerobic zone of exercise without knowing when anaerobic is kicking in?

Thanks MeSci Yes, its pretty pertinent isn't it! I have no history of muscle pains, and maybe this is because I am more affected by stress crashes rather than exertion (though I def have these too sometimes), but potentially for me they are both heart related. I had a look at that paper, and...

how can I stay in aerobic zone of exercise without knowing when anaerobic is kicking in?

Hi MeSci Thanks for replying. I am really keen to learn more about this and other very interesting areas on this site. The level of science discussed here seems well in advance of what is discussed in the UK. On this topic, I wouldn't disagree with you, though I would consider that the heart...

how can I stay in aerobic zone of exercise without knowing when anaerobic is kicking in?

Hello everyone Can I ask a question about use of HRMs. Do any of you have any views? I am guessing that what we are trying to prevent here is over cycling our ATP, to the point where it runs out, before we can recycle it, causing us to burn up our ADP, and causing a long period where the body...

    No Brakes on Adrenaline

@DataDude I have similar concerns, though I do not have the physical pain. I do have periods where I feel normal, and periods, where I am mainly lying down, and periods inbetween. But though I can have PEM, 80% of my crashes seem to be stress related, and when I am feeling unwell, I feel like...
