    Men's experiences with ME/CFS

Interesting Topic. For me it's been about alot of the little things. I can't do anything around the house apart from some domestic chores so no DIY or gardening. When we are out if we buy anything then my wife carries it around. I have to ask her to do any lifting for me. My wife is also the...

    Some inspiration (CFS/ME remission collection)

The James guy being interviewed created his own Youtube channel (I believe he posted it here and got short shrift) and the general theme was positive thinking and diet cured him. He was never diagnosed with ME by a doctor I don't think. The interviewer also had another one of these stories...

    BBC Radio Scotland covers ME/CFS

Isn't it fair to say there is no specialist ME service in the UK fullstop? I live in the SE of England and my specialist service involved me waiting a year to be sent to a doctor who listened to me for 30mins and then said yes, you have ME. That was it unless I wanted to do GET or CBT. Nothing...

    L-Carnitine causing fatigue

Simple one really. I started l-carnitine and that night I was hit with a fatigue I hadn't experienced since the early days of illness. The next few days were the same and so I stopped taking it to test if it was that and things have improved over the last few days. Can it just do this or should...

    Computer Use Problem

Thanks all will keep at it. Trying flux at the mo but doesn't seem to be helping. Have looked at Gunnar glasses but they seem quite expensive for something that may just be marketing fluff.

    Computer Use Problem

I think 60 is the norm? I also use a 120hz monitor for gaming with the same issue.

    Computer Use Problem

Its a 60hz running at 60 so don't think that's the issue. Thanks though.

    Computer Use Problem

For some time now I've had an issue using a computer monitor. After a fairly short time, about an hour, I get headaches. My eyes often feel sore as well so it may be down to eye strain. I've tried focusing on something else every 20mins and recently had an eye check up. Anyone had any...

    Facial muscle fatigue

Thanks all. I have a doctors appointment on Wednesday so will mention it then. I'm hoping its just the ME as some of the other things related to the symptoms sound a bit rubbish. It does seem to be worse when I'm tired, mostly in the evening.

    Facial muscle fatigue

I'm wondering if anyone has experienced facial muscle fatigue? In the last 2-3 weeks it seems to have come out of nowhere, as these symptoms seem to do. My jaw, lips, mouth and tongue in particular are effected. It all feels quite tight with aches and stiffness. On a couple of occasions my...
