Esther Crawley TEDxBristol Disrupting Your View Of ME

Open letter to TEDxBristol regarding Esther Crawley's presentation on 2 November 2017 by Carly Maryhew Great open letter that requests that the entire video not be posted by TEDxBristol, either on its own site or on YouTube (methodological flaws, use of the fake Sunday Times threat letter...)...

Jen Brea talking to GMT news

So what? That financial backing is what is allowing Jen to do this fantastic job of raising awarness. Money well spent. (BTW nobody was forced to donate, and it doesn't prevent anyone else from doing so and trying to do the job as perfectly as Unrest is doing).

The Optimum Health Clinic and its Treatment and Research

    1. So if we don't try a treament we can't comment about it? According to this logic, only those who used leeches can say it's bullshit. 2. Implying those who didn't try everything synergistically don't want to support their body is just another version of "you don't really want to get better"...

Esther Crawley - talk 17th Nov Mood disorders Centre, Exeter Uni

Because CFS/ME is a real biological disease caused by mood disorders and curable by convincing yourself you're not sick while throwing papers in a circle. So Esther Crawley certainly knows what she's talking about and is a perfect choice for this conference.

I completely agree with all the limitations of childhood trauma causality for ME, depression, or any other diseases that you've talked about. But I think this study, even with the bias associated with the search of childhood trauma, as they couldn't find more occurrence of it in CFS patients...

The level of stupidity and viciousness of some "patients advocates" is appalling. Jen Brea's film is starting to raise awarness to a level never reached till now.

Defining and measuring recovery from ME & chronic fatigue syndrome: the physician perspective

I think this comes partially because of the loose way "recovery" is defined in general in psychiatry. Their definition is closer to improvment than recovery (for me return to pre-morbid state, period): https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC4418239/ According to the 2d sentence I...

Misdiagnosed: How Children With Treatable Medical Issues Are Mistakenly Labeled as Mentally Ill
