Tomorrow my appointment with the Lyme specialist will have finally arrived. When I sent my bloods off to Germany in March, they came back positive for Lyme and co infections. And a very low immune system. I don't know if I "only" have Lyme (I'm pretty much house bound and need a walker to get...

Need help if you're sitting most of the day

I find either my back, raised up slightly. Or kind of in the recovery position if that makes sense, except with opposite arms. So the arm in front of my face tucked under the pillow and the behind arm down. My pillow down instead of across, so under my head but also down under my chest to give...

Need help if you're sitting most of the day

I found that putting two tennis balls inside a sock and tying a knot in the sock, with the tennis balls tight together helps. Although it is sore to do! You lie on the floor and give the space between each vertebrae a turn. One ball either side of your spine. It really eases things out. I...

A Town Designed for ME/CFS Would Have...

A live in care centre for those who struggle to be independent. Or assisted living housing but with all the above specifications. With a quiet little coffee shop for when we feel able to talk or mingle. And a beautiful garden. Near the sea. Ahem, may be running away with myself!
