Today's NYTimes reports on a rare case of Zika virus tied to Immune Thrombocytopenia Purpura(ITP):
"Zika infection triggered his immune system to produce antibodies that attack...platelets, which cause the blood to clot."
"...the symptoms are easily misdiagnosed as dengue hemorrhagic fever."
