Anyone found that CoQ10 and L-Serine has benefited them?

I saw a Chronic fatigue specialist here a couple of days ago.
He's a well-known guy in the field and mentioned on this forum once or twice.
He recommended me CoQ10 and L-Serine.

Anyone tried these to good effect and if so, what brand?

(I am trying to avoid GMOs so would be preferable if the ingredients were non-GMO. Doctors Best CoQ10 may contain GM soy for example.)

I take CoQ10 and think that it increases my energy. I take Jarrow Ubiquinol first thing in the morning because it is them most rapidly absorbed form. I take cheaper Rexall CoQ10 at the same time and once or twice more during the day. Since it doesn't say what form of CoQ10 it is and is cheaper, it is most likely Ubiquinone.

I have been taking CoQ10 off and on for a few years now. It does help me with more stamina in the day but even though I have experimented with different times and doses and types I can't get any more benefit from it than that. Sometimes it doesn't help at all during the worst times. The gel caps version of CoQ10 definitely has a better effect on me.

L-Serine looks familiar but I can't remember if it is one of the things I have taken. Been 30 years of trying treatments and supplements and forgotten many of them.

If I went to see someone and paid for a consultation on how to treat ME or CFS and this was all that I came away with I would want my money back.

I definitely have benefited from co q-10, with increased energy and stamina. I use the Jarrow brand most often, 200mg/day.

I swear by COQ10, I take A LOT about 1200mg a day. Is th eone thing with CFS that I noticed Inmidiate results with. It does lower my Blood pressure so I have to keep an eye on it (I have natural low BP). Brand makes 100% difference. I use natures' bounties. Never tried the other/.

Love CoQ10. Never saw any benefit from it until kick started methylation with Freddd's Deadlock Quartet andI bumped up dosage CoQ10 dosage to 400mg/day, however. But now it's a staple.

Love CoQ10 in the liquid/gel form. I've increased the dosage in accordance to my body weight in the last month+ and this when I noticed the difference; I was not taking high enough dose before that. I'm not sure whether it gives me more energy but I notice a difference in recovery time when go over my boundary..

I've not taken l-serine since it was in normal range on my amino acid test.

I have a similar experience. Normal doses (~200-400mg) did little to nothing for me, but 1200mg (600 at breakfast, 600 at lunch) gives me a noticeable improvement in energy. I particularly notice it at mid-afternoon to evening. Prior to increasing CoQ10 dose, I was usually out of energy by that time of day.
